Cordwainer's Shop, C. 1750
Ipswich, MA
A timely "historic move" for this frame saved from across the Ipswich River and moved to the Day-Dodge House property.
The exterior is entirely clad in White Oak, the choice wood of early builders. It is outfitted with a reproduction boot sign fitting it's earlier purpose; a shop that served some of the earlier inhabitants.
The reconstruction of the Cordwainer's Shop is dedicated to Thomas Dennis, a first joiner of Agawam (Ipswich).
