Captain Sutton House

This 1687 center chimney 4 room house is one of Ipswich's oldest treasures. Notice the chimney exposed behind the staircase located in the middle front of the house; a classic feature in a house of this vintage. Currently disassembled, the frame is being restored for raising on a new foundation in early 2008.
